Water’s Edge, the last Grand Room to be resurrected at Kings Mills, utilizes a wonderful blend of wood and stone to form a most perfect union. Water’s Edge features the rich wood tones of Camelot with the regal stonework showcased in Paradise, making for a distinctive presentation of craftsmanship for your guests' enjoyment. A beautiful stone vestibule with two quaint stained glass windows and beveled glass highlight the entryway to the Water’s Edge Grand Room. Water’s Edge is laid out perfectly for a festive yet elegant wedding reception. The upper portion of Water’s Edge; the Cove, features a spectacular area with two large Palladium windows, hardwood ceilings and floors. The Cove is beautifully situated above the sunken dining area, connected by a stunning ramp bordered by stone pillars and oak trimming. The sunken dining area is separated from the dance floor allowing your sedentary guests to sit and watch the dancers and all of the special moments of the reception such as the cake cutting and the garter and bouquet toss. Dancing can also be accommodated on the floor of the main dining room, for those weddings that would like to keep the event more intimate. A stone fireplace towers 18 feet over the dining area and provides a beautiful backdrop for your wedding pictures. A spacious lounge area with a beautiful oak bar is the culmination of a fantastic wedding facility.
Water's Edge can accommodate 250 guests with a large dance floor.
